Stash in the City

I had a great trip into the city of Toronto this week. I went for a long walk around Sick Kids Hospital and met some new friends. I always wondered why people shouted out “It’s Sebastian!” when I trot down the city, and today someone explained to me who Sebastian is. I will write about that on my next blog.

I met with a number of families and children at Elm Supportive Housing affiliated with YWCA. It was a great visit! So many hugs, cuddles and honestly, I think I was getting therapy treatment. Sometimes we have a bad day, and I wasn’t feeling my best that day. Meeting all those wonderful and kind people, they made me feel great!

After my visit we took a long walk around University Health Network and up to the Queens Park Legislative building. The peace officers let me munch on the clover and gave me a nice pat.

I think next time I am in the city I would like to try riding on those cool street cars.
